This policy explains how SmartLogic Tech collects, uses, stores, protects, and manages personal information submitted through its website, quote forms, applications, admin workflows, and related digital services.

This page is structured in line with the principles of Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), relevant electronic records rules under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), and general security expectations for digital operations in Ghana. It should still be reviewed by Ghana-qualified counsel before being treated as final legal advice.
What this covers

Authorized SmartLogic Tech personnel, approved technical operators, and service providers needed to run the platform securely.

Access, correction, objection, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and complaint escalation to the Data Protection Commission.

Information we collect

SmartLogic Tech may collect contact details, business details, quote request information, project requirements, application responses, uploaded documents, communication history, and technical data such as device, browser, IP address, and access logs where required for security and service delivery.

Why we process data

Personal data is processed only for defined business and operational purposes, including responding to enquiries, reviewing applications, evaluating partnership requests, operating client or applicant workspaces, improving internal security, and meeting regulatory or contractual obligations.

Storage, Firebase, and Google Cloud

SmartLogic Tech may store website enquiries, uploaded files, application records, signed documents, and operational data on SmartLogic-controlled hosting and storage used to run this website and its internal administration tools.

Where SmartLogic Tech deploys selected services, backups, application features, or supporting infrastructure on Firebase or Google Cloud, related personal data, files, logs, authentication records, or service data may also be stored or processed within those environments in accordance with the selected configuration and Google's infrastructure controls.

Sharing and disclosure

Data is not sold. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary to run the service, complete a transaction, satisfy a legal obligation, protect SmartLogic Tech, or work with trusted technical providers under confidentiality and security controls.

Retention and protection

SmartLogic Tech follows the principle of storage limitation. Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, to support live service continuity, to maintain agreement and operational records, to manage disputes or reviews, and to satisfy applicable Ghanaian legal, tax, audit, employment, payroll, or statutory recordkeeping obligations where relevant.

User rights and complaint procedures

In line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), users and clients may request access to personal data held about them, ask for correction of inaccurate information, object to particular processing, request deletion where retention is no longer required, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis relied upon.

Rights requests should be submitted in writing to SmartLogic Tech for the attention of the Data Protection Supervisor. SmartLogic Tech aims to address such requests internally and in good faith. If a user is dissatisfied with the response, the matter may be escalated to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana where appropriate.
