Ghana-focused legal framework
SmartLogic Tech aims to structure its public operations,
electronic workflows, and business records consistently with
applicable Ghanaian law, including the Data Protection Act, 2012
(Act 843), the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772), and
the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), together with other
relevant commercial and contractual rules.
Electronic records and signatures
SmartLogic Tech may use electronic forms, portal workflows,
digital acknowledgements, email notices, initials, typed names, and
signature capture where electronic execution is appropriate for the
transaction. Where a document requires a stronger standard, the
controlling process may request additional verification, witness
detail, or formal execution steps.
Confidentiality and submitted materials
Business proposals, identity materials, CVs, agreements, technical
notes, and project submissions are treated as controlled business
information. Access should be limited to authorized reviewers,
administrators, and technical personnel who need the material for
evaluation, delivery, legal review, or secure recordkeeping.
Data protection and lawful handling
Personal data should be collected only for defined purposes,
handled fairly, secured appropriately, and retained only as long as
reasonably necessary. Where the law requires additional notices,
consent, registration, access handling, or complaint response,
SmartLogic Tech should structure its operations accordingly.
Project, payment, and agreement controls
Commercial terms, payment schedules, deliverables, intellectual
property treatment, confidentiality, service levels, and scope
limits should be governed by the applicable signed agreement, quote,
statement of work, or contractor document issued for the engagement.
Public website content is not, by itself, a final commercial
contract.
Disputes, notices, and review
Formal notices may be delivered by the approved business contact
channels or by any method required by the governing agreement.
Disputes should first be addressed in good faith through direct
engagement and documented review. If escalation becomes necessary,
the relevant agreement or applicable Ghanaian law should determine
the next forum and legal process.
